Damaged bearings often require a costly replacement process that currently involves expensive cranes an long downtime. Disassembling the entire rotor and drivetrain requires an expensive high-capacity crane, factory refurbishment, and reassembly by crane.

CBE enables crane-free rotor bearing replacement directly on the tower – regardless of weather.

The rotor and drive train remain stationary, supported by our specially designed devices. These devices safely transfer all rotor loads to the main frame. Our process allows reuse of all major components, even the bearing housing. Your turbine will be back on the grid within 6 days.
